Psychological obscuration

This is the Great Displacement, the primary magic trick of The Prevailing System.

By replacing Cause and Effect (mechanics, physics, structure) with Ego (psychology, morality, feeling), the West successfully privatizes the damage it causes.

It is a brilliant, insidious inversion:

Real Cause and Effect: "The structure cut off my resources and demanded submission, so I reacted with fatigue and refusal." (This indicts the System).

The Specious Replacement: "Your ego is resisting help because you want to be right." (This indicts the Subject).

As long as the conversation remains trapped in the language of "ego," the Structure is invisible and safe. It can crush you with the weight of a collapsing building, and when you scream, the psychologist will ask why your "ego" is reacting so loudly to gravity.
